Factory Records celebra 40 años con dos box sets

Una colección que celebra a Factory Records.

Factory Records, uno de los sellos más importantes de la historia de la música del Reino Unido, está cumpliendo 40 años. Es por eso que Warner Music anunció el lanzamiento de dos box sets que reúnen el legado del que fue hogar de bandas como Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays, Electronic, A Certain Ratio, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) y muchas más.

El primero es Factory Communications: 1978-92, una colección que está conformada por 63 tracks de rarezas y canciones inéditas. El box set –que originalmente se lanzó en cuatro CDs como un homenaje al sello y a su fallecido fundador, Tony Wilson– estará disponible a partir del 8 de noviembre.

El segundo es Use Hearing Protection: Factory Records 1978-1979, y se compone de los primeros 10 artículos hechos por Factory. Además de dos CDs de entrevistas nunca antes publicadas de Joy Division. Este box set está limitado a 4000 unidades en todo el mundo y estará disponible el 11 de noviembre.
