¿Cuál es tu favorito?

La próxima edición de los Video Music Awards se transmitirá en vivo desde Los Ángeles el domingo 27 de septiembre. La ceremonia se emitirá a través de CBS y contará con transmisión simultánea tanto en MTV como en Paramount+.

Madonna lidera la lista con 11 nominaciones, mientras que Taylor Swift acumula nueve. Ambas se enfrentan por el premio a Video del Año: "la reina del pop" por Confessions II - The Film y Swift por "The Fate of Ophelia" de su álbum Life of a Showgirl.

En la música latina, Shakira destaca con tres nominaciones: dos en mejor Latin por “Choka Choka” con Anitta y “Dai Dai” con Burna Boy, y una en mejor colaboración por esta última, tema oficial de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026™. En mejor artista nuevo compiten Bella Kay, CORTIS, Magnus Ferrell, Malcolm Todd, Myles Smith, Sienna Spiro y Stella Lefty. 

La votación del público para 13 categorías está abierta en vote.mtv.com hasta el 25 de septiembre a las 18:00 H  En mejor artista nuevo se podrá votar hasta el día del evento. Del 20 de agosto al 24 de septiembre, se podrán duplicar los votos diarios en la “Hora Poderosa” (13:00 a 14:00 H).
